1912 - The story begins in a small workshop opened by the late Rifleman Yusuf Yıldırımdemir, grandfather of our Chairman of the Board, Metin Yıldırımdemir, where he repaired various machines with the limited means of that period.

1924 - What Rifleman Yusuf acquired during the War of Independence and the Siege of Gaziantep.

1933 - By this year, the workshop producing weapons and ammunition was no longer compatible with the conditions of the country.

1959 - An invention year. In this year, the late Mustafa Yıldırımdemir, father of our Chairman of the Board Metin Yıldırımdemir, invented the 'Peanut Cracking Machine' for pistachios, the most important agricultural and economic source of the region. He utilized the knowledge he had learned from his father, Rifleman Yusuf Yıldırımdemir, and reinforced at the M. Rüştü Uzel Art Institute.

This invention is important for our region and our country, which realized the significance of mechanization.

1967 - In addition to manufacturing various machines, the late Mustafa Yıldırımdemir successfully produced and implemented the large-scale Rotary Kiln Chimney, which was needed by the Sugar and Cement Factories of the Republic of Turkey but could not be produced in the country and had to be imported under very difficult conditions.

Thus, the Fan Systems successfully implemented today by Tüfekçi Makina were born.

1976 - By this year, package air conditioning systems began to be produced.

1986 - Our Chairman of the Board, Metin Yıldırımdemir, after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer at Middle East Technical University (METU), established his first initiative, PLASTMAK Limited Company. Having been raised with a passion for production inherited from his ancestors, he aimed to contribute solutions to the deficiencies he observed in the country’s industry.

1993 - With the development of the electronics sector, the use of Firstly was introduced in the industry.

1994 - In parallel with the development in textile machinery, the loss of carding machines was observed.

1996 - In this year, Metin Yıldırımdemir founded Tufekci Machinery Industry and Trade Limited Company, carrying the nickname of his grandfather (Rifleman Yusuf), with the aim of eliminating foreign dependency in the Air Conditioning, Dust and Waste Collection Systems of Textile Factories, which were considered the backbone of the country’s economy.

1998 - Closely following developing technologies, Tüfekçi Makina started providing its customers with advanced solutions.

2000 - By adding Electronic Automation Technology to its systems, Tüfekçi Makina launched 1st Generation automation software, enabling systems to operate more efficiently and contributing to the production capacities of its customers.

2001 - The company proved itself with the important projects carried out and the work accomplished.

2002 - Tüfekçi Makina San. ve Tic. Ltd. moved from its first production site at KÜSGET Industrial Site Street No. 60039/Gaziantep to 2nd Organized Industrial Zone Street No. 83214/Gaziantep, increasing its production capacity and beginning to serve textile factories abroad as well.

2004 - With the development of electronics, automation, and digital control sectors, the industry’s first Inverter System Air Conditioning, Dust and Waste Collection was introduced with 2nd Generation automation software.

2005 - In line with the development of the regional garment industry, PARBOY Limited Company was established within Tüfekçi to serve this sector.

2006 - Work on energy saving in radial fans of waste collection systems was carried out.

2007 - The developed Electronic Control System was successfully implemented in SANKO enterprises.

2009 - 3rd Generation automation software was launched.

2010 - In line with its founding purpose, a decision was made to sell Parboy Limited Company, and it was sold.

2014 - 4th Generation automation software was launched.

2016 - Seçkin Yıldırımdemir studied at Atılım University Faculty of Engineering.

Tüfekçi Makina has been operating as a family business since its establishment.

With the professional support received before the institutionalization process, the topic of a Family Constitution was brought to the agenda. Work was initiated for the institutionalization of the Family Company. For the professionalization process, the shareholders (Board of Directors, Executive Board) and top managers completed “Tüfekçi Makina Management (Leadership) Development” professional training programs.

2017 - Integrated Human Resources System pilot implementation started in our company.

Our company transformed into a Joint Stock Company and took the name Tüfekçi Makina San.

The Board of Directors was established with Chairman Metin Yıldırımdemir and other members.

Tüfekçi Makina closely follows developments in the Turkish and World Textile Sectors.

In the coming period, we will continue to develop our domestic and international structures.

With the work we will do in the field of artificial intelligence, our systems will become more effective and efficient.

Our company’s systems can primarily be used in the field of production along with the Textile Sector.
